Top 10 reminders to maintain your wood floor at home:

1. Maintain proper humidity.  Ideal relative humidity is 35-45%.
2. Vacuum or sweep floors as necessary.  Sand and grit will wear away the finish.
3. Use felt protectors on furniture legs.
4. Wipe away spills immediately.
5. Use walk-off mats outside entrance doors to catch dirt and use rugs in high traffic areas to lessen wear on the floor finish.
6. Check traffic areas for wear regularly and have your flooring recoated before the finish has worn through.
7. When cleaning your floor, dampen not wet the mop.
8. Keep high heels in good repair to reduce indentations.
9. Do not use wax, oil soaps, dusting sprays, or other household cleaners on polyurethane finished wood flooring. Use only recommended cleaning products.
10. Enjoy the natural beauty of wood flooring!

Warranty:

Each Anderson Ladd hardwood floor carries a one-year warranty on materials and workmanship.  Not covered by warranty are cracks or cupping caused by moisture or the lack of moisture, or the durability of the finish as this is a variable factor determined by the daily habits of the household.
